I have not been able to say that I had an amazing weekend in a good while. But thankfully, today is one of those times I can! As we all know, I am deeply in love with Los Angeles, and this weekend I went twice! It was simply amazing. On Friday I went to one of my favorite places in the whole world, Venice<3. It was very random and spur of the moment thing but it turned out great. Went with some new people I do not usually hang out with but I had such a great time, and I can not wait to repeat it many more times. Since it was random, we went pretty much unprepared and had to dig deep into every crevice to find change to pay for parking. haha Not to mention I had not ate at all and my breakfast was a 4loko with some chips. But it was a great breakfast nonetheless. So as we are walking towards the boardwalk, the sky decided to let some water fall on us! Yes, it started pouring, which was pretty funny and cool because it just added to the randomness that this trip was. But like all the good things, we made the positive come out, and shortly after it stopped raining. We had a cool time just walking around, talking to the vendors and coming up on a bad ass art piece. I met a friend of a friend of mine, and she was the one that actually traded a beer we had for a sandstone carving with her name. Winning! We then kept walking around and looked through some stores and found a bad ass elephant piece for a good price. It got dark and as much as I love Venice, it is not a good thing to walk around there, especially with three young girls. haha But we made it out safe and sound and went to eat some chilli's =]]. I love the vibe there in Venice and can not wait to go back again soon. No matter what time of the year it is, it is always really fun to go and hang out with some awesome people, which I did. We took some pictures with an awesome camera which I need to purchase soon. You can see some below. On Saturday, I attempted to go partying with some other friends in far away land, aka close to COACHELLA! aka Indio ha. The flyer seemed pretty legit, and the location sounded like it was going to be a really good place to party at. But when we pass by the house, it looked like a total FAIL! and on top of it all, the kids there were trying to charge to get in. That was way too funny, the guy who's party it was, was turning 24 but all the attendees looked like they were in high school still. Total fail but made the most by coming back and hanging with our good friends. Finally, on Sunday I went to this amazing mall known as The Grove in LA. i have gone every year during the Holiday season but did not actually see the "tree lighting" so I attempted to go today. We arrive about two hours before the ceremony was scheduled to begin and it was packed with a lot of people already. There was some good people scheduled to perform, but no one was aware that the show was going to be taped, and not in a cool way. They had to do a couple of re takes, and cuts, all while telling the crowd when to cheer. Either way, it was a cool experience and I will look for it when it is broad casted on TV. I still say that my role in life is not to be in the audience, but behind the scenes, putting it all together and making it happen. I will make it happen, as well as moving out to LA very soon. I am ready to start my life, and help everyone around me. Either way I saw it snow, the vibe of everyone was very good, everyone was dressed in winter fashion, and I ate King Taco. I had a great time as well laughing with the great people i went with, and can not wait for our next adventure. I have come to realize that sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone and just say fuck it, and go with the flow. Meet new people, travel to new locations, eat new food, wear whatever you want. Memories is all we will have one day, and those are the moments that we live for. Everyone have a great week, be safe, do work, and do not put your head down, everything will be okay in the end...if it is not okay, then it is not the end. Peace and One Love.
