fam[ily] time

I do not like to follow what the world does. The words they choose because it is what everyone uses really annoys me. As well as the things they wear and things they do. One should not follow a trend because everyone else is doing it. I will admit, I do something that I see other people do, but not for the fact that someone else has done it. But because I like it. That is why I choose to write family in that way on the title. I really love my family, and I would not trade anyone. I did not choose my family, but I do not have a single complaint about them. I guess you can say my family is pretty "normal", and I am so thankful for that. No ugly divorces, no hatred between members of our family, everyone gets along and I love that fact. I know many of my friends do not have functional families, and it sucks to know the shit they have to go through. So I try to be there as much as I can to help but it sucks when you can not even trust or share some time with your own family. But this should not be a reason for you to be sad or depressed over. I know it is hard sometimes to ignore your family, since after all, they are family, but remember that if they will not bust their ass off for you, you should think twice before doing it for them. Do no give up on your family, but as with any body in the world, if they are not beneficial to your life, it is time to do stuff on your own, and for yourself. Sometimes it is good to be selfish. And do you for a while. Even if this means getting away and ignoring them. I say with no judgement on any situation, I know how hard it is. With that being said, I do know some friends who I personally believe, should distance them selves for their own health. Just remember,  no one can beat family time, especially with family you do not spend as much time. So embrace that family that you get along with, make the best out of the time you have with even the family you do not "like" or get along with. I am thankful for my family, I am thankful for you becoming my family, and I hope we all one day, grow up, and raise a great and supporting family. Be safe, and have a great night. FAM[ILY]
