Peace and One Love.

31 years ago we lost one of the greatest peace activists that ever lived. It is great to know that his teaching, and ideals, are still followed today. And even though another unfortunate event has occurred at VA Tech, I still believe Peace should always be advocated. I do not understand the motives behind people's horrible actions, but it almost always consist of lack of love, and a hatred towards something. We should always be loving to everyone, even if it is a simple "hi" or opening the door for someone. Any little act of kindness, can spark an even bigger act from that person. You do not know how that person's day has been, and your act can change his whole mood and outlook of the whole day. Imagine a world where we do not need to spend most of our funding on "defense". We would not have to worry about people fighting over land, objects, etc. I know that it is human nature to disagree because we all have our own views, but that does not mean we need to get violent with each other. We love in a world where we teach kids at school, that violence is not the answer and there will be consequences if you do reach violence in school. But in that same place, a couple of years later, we also learn how that this world is nothing but violence. From thousands of years ago to the present, violence seems to always be the answer to resolve disputes. We need to work really hard to reverse this, and at least cut the violence to the point where we do not need to watch over shoulder every time we go to an ATM, or walk out with a bunch of money in our pocket. It all starts with you, so let's work hard, and try to change the world for good. All it takes is you to touch ONE person's heart in your lifetime, and they to touch one themselves, and so on and so forth, and we will live in a better world one day. I know it is very hard, but the sooner we start, the better the world will become. Everyone have a blesses and wonderful day, share the love to everyone around you, and maintain a positive outlook always. Remember, it all start with you. Peace and One Love. R.I.P. John Lennon.
